Can I have all my equipment loaded onto the app?

Absolutely! We highly recommend using QuipCheck for your fleet. Simply provide us with your plant list, and we'll load all of your vehicles into the app. By switching to QuipCheck, you'll reduce human error and gain valuable insights into your fleet's performance through detailed reports.

Can I use QuipCheck to do pre-start checks on my vehicles?

Yes, you can! QuipCheck™ makes pre-start checks a breeze. Simply select your vehicle on your mobile device and complete the pre-start checklist. It's that easy!

What forms can I have on the app?

You can digitise virtually all of your existing paper forms using QuipCheck. We'll work with you to recreate your forms within the app. There's typically a fee per form, unless you choose to use templates from our pre-built library.

Can I take photos with the app?

Yes! QuipCheck allows you to capture photos directly within the app. You can take multiple images for each question or attach existing photos from your device's gallery.

Images captured with electronic forms are embedded directly into the generated PDF. This allows you to zoom in on details using your PDF viewer or save the images individually for higher-resolution viewing. For added flexibility, QuipCheck also offers the option to send photos as separate attachments or include them in a multi-page PDF (one photo per page). This is a perfect solution for those who are still using traditional paper forms and want to streamline their processes.

Where do the completed forms and photos go, and how?

All submitted forms are automatically converted to PDFs and emailed directly to you. No need to manually enter email addresses for each submission. Additionally, copies of these PDFs are sent to your designated office email.

Can forms be signed by our team?

QuipCheck allows you to add electronic signatures directly to your forms. Simply use your finger or stylus to sign on your device's touchscreen. You can include multiple signatures on a single form if needed.

Does the app require mobile data?

Yes, forms are submitted over your mobile phone's cellular network, which means you may incur data charges from your carrier. To minimise costs, QuipCheck will automatically connect to Wi-Fi whenever available.

What happens if the user is out-of-range?

Completed forms are automatically saved to your device's outbox and sent as soon as you regain a cellular connection. This means there may be a delay in receiving submitted forms while you're in areas with limited coverage.

What if our plant doesn't include vehicles?

Absolutely! QuipCheck is incredibly versatile and can be customised to meet your specific needs. Whether you're tracking vehicles, equipment, assets, buildings, or anything else, QuipCheck™ can handle it all. The possibilities are endless!

How does QuipCheck mange a large fleet or plant?

Your assets are organised into logical groups based on type, make, class, brand, location, or any criteria you prefer. This ensures your fleet list is tailored to your specific workflow. QuipCheck is intelligent and remembers the last vehicle you used, making it easy for operators to quickly access the relevant checklist for frequently used assets.

Does QuipCheck use and generate QR codes?

QuipCheck will generate your QR codes. By placing the QR codes on your vehicles, you can easily scan them with the app to quickly and accurately identify the correct vehicle for your inspection.

What if we already have our own barcodes on vehicles?

QuipCheck can scan not only QR codes but also registration/RUC labels on your windshield and barcoded VINs in your engine bay. This provides you with multiple options for quickly and accurately identifying your vehicles.

Can the operator or driver see previous vehicle issues?

Yes, your drivers can access a history of previous inspections for each vehicle. This allows them to identify recurring issues and take proactive steps to prevent problems. It's like having a digital logbook for every asset right at their fingertips, making it incredibly valuable for both drivers and maintenance staff.

Is there a way to view all of my submitted forms?

QuipCheck provides a web-based portal where you can view and access all historical inspection data. If you're using a corporate network, please confirm with your IT department that external links to PDF files are not blocked.

Is QuipCheck a cloud-based service?

Yes. Encrypted data is sent to and from your mobile device to dedicated servers on the internet.
Our infrastructure is hosted in Sydney (Australia) with geo-redundant replication into other centres.

How secure is our data?

QuipCheck is committed to data security. We employ advanced Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols to protect your internet communications. Your passwords are never stored on our servers, and the URLs for your completed PDFs are virtually impossible to guess.

Is there an API available?

While QuipCheck doesn't offer a traditional API, we can provide SQL access to your data upon request. This feature allows for seamless integration with platforms like Power BI or your own SQL server. To explore this option, please contact our team.

What if we are not permitted to store data in the cloud?

If you require a non-cloud-hosted solution, we can explore alternative options. One possibility is to utilise our API to collect your data and store it securely on your own in-house server. Once your data is transferred, we would delete our copy, effectively disabling access to historical checks through the QuipCheck™ portal.

How does QuipCheck work if we have firewalls and very secure wifi?

If you're having trouble with QuipCheck on your WiFi, try switching to mobile data. If that doesn't work, ensure you have a stable internet connection. If the issue persists, your WiFi network might be blocking the app.
Just tell your IT team to allow traffic to/from quipcheck.com over port 443.
